Gateway Center Gatekeepers is a social networking group focused on the mission of ending homelessness and implementing community strategies through the Gateway Center to accomplish that mission. The Gateway Center, located in downtown Atlanta, is one of the largest homeless services centers in the southeast United States. More than 500 homeless men, women, and children participate in programs and services every day. Scores of volunteers opportunities exist at the Gateway Center. This group continues the model of community collaboatrion to address the issue of homelessness that is a part of the DNA of Gateway Center and central to its founding on 28 July 2005. The Gateway Center is a free-standing, self-managed 501(c)3. Vinc Smith is the Executive Director.
