Live, Work, Play or Commute on Atlanta's I-285 Top End perimeter?  Come join us and be involved in how its future is shaped....

It’s no secret that Atlanta is plagued with traffic, and one of the most congested areas lies between I-75 and I-85 on the top end of I-285. In 2006, the Georgia Department of Transportation and the Georgia Regional Transportation Authority launched revive285 top end to develop a solution to the traffic challenges on this vital corridor.  Since then, the project team has been in the process of the development, identification and selection of solutions to improve congestion, safety, system linkage and transportation options on this section of I-285.

GDOT and GRTA recognize the complexity of this project and expect a high level of public interest and involvement.  The revive285 top end Public Involvement Team hopes to:

Involve the public in defining the issues, identifying potential solutions, and selecting a final preferred alternative(s).

Evaluate public concerns and issues and provide feedback on how the public input influenced the process and the final solution.

Provide the public with accurate, timely, and relevant information to assist them in understanding the problems, alternatives, and/or solutions.
